SPECIAL EVENT FRIDAY AFTERNOON SESSIONS: PREPARING TO TAKE OVER THE FAMILY FINANCES ... ALONE
Usually one spouse handles the finances. In the event of death or incapacitation, the other spouse or children will need to step into that role. This 5-part event will help to make this transition easier.
All meetings are on Friday Afternoons and are held in the Chaparral Center with rooms alternating between Hopi, Pima, and Apache. Please mark the following dates on your calendars.
The main presentation topics for each of the five segments are:
January 30 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Gathering Essential Documents (Hopi Room)
February 06 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Accessing Accounts and Passwords plus Bill Paying (Pima Room)
February 13 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Preparing Written Instructions (Hopi Room)
February 20 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Understanding an Estate Plan, Wills, Power of Attorney Forms (Apache Room)
February 27 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Knowing What Happens When You Notify the Bank of a Death (Hopi Room)
Online registration begins January 7th at 9AM AZ.
The primary registrant must be a Grand Tech Club Member.
The fee is $15 covering the cost of meeting materials. (One handbook and flash drive per household).
A member may register one guest at no fee. The financial spouse is encouraged to bring the non-financial spouse.
Due to space constraints, registrants will be unable to float between Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon sessions.
Optional Flash Drive Classes
TheGrand Tech Club will offer 1-hour classes in the Club Classroom for those who need help using a flash drive.
